I wish to move from Outlook 2010 to Thunderbird and get rid of iTune for the iPhone. Does someone know a proven solution with minimum impact on my workflow?

Current situation: I have 2 occurences of Outlook 2010, one on a laptop, one on a desktop (both windows 10). I use the 4 main functions of Outlook : mail, agenda, contact and tasks. Mail is under IMAP, provider is Free (xx@free.fr). The IMAP protocol makes all the synchronization. Agenda and Contact are the Outlook Agenda and Contact on the laptop - no agenda and no contact on the desktop (impossible to synchronize as I don't run an exchange server). Same for tasks, only on the laptop Outlook Agenda and Contact are synchronized with the iPhone using iTune. Tasks are not synchronized. Mails are synchronised from the Free server under IMAP (and SMTP of course).

As far as I have understood, there would be a solution if I move to Gmail but I would like to remain with Free (not to change my email adress)

Consider also I have over 10 years of messages and attachments and agenda entries. Tasks are not that important. # 500 active contacts plus archives

I suppose I'm not the first guy in that situation. Please, what would be your advice ?

Thanks for your answers
