Shortcut to directly screenshot a full page.

more options

When I press ctrl+shift+s, I get a menu in the upper-right corner of the browser. It has a “Save full page” option. However, I still have to go and click on that.

Is there a shortcut to just directly take a screenshot of the whole page? Is there a way to configure such a shortcut if there isn’t one by default?

Thanks!

I don't know of a way to add that to Firefox's own screenshotter. You can get a bit closer with this sequence:

  • Ctrl+Shift+s
  • Tab
  • Enter

But then you still get the preview screen and need to click there.

I use the following extension that allows assigning a keyboard shortcut (assuming it is one Firefox has not already taken):

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/savescreenshot/

To assign keyboard shortcuts to extension functions, see: Manage extension shortcuts in Firefox.
