Thunderbird search is not showing all the results
Greetings!
Over the last few days, I have noticed that the search box function in Thunderbird is not giving all the results, like it used to in the past.
It used to be my go-to method of finding a particular content or theme or person in my inbox but now it omits a lot of the emails [that contain the word] I am looking for.
I just tested it, for example, searching for an email I received yesterday, with an obscure word in the text "oscilloscope". The results didn't show yesterday's email, or my reply to it. The first result was from last year although I know that word has been used a few times since then.
Another test search of a person with a distinct name is also omitting their most recent emails to and from me. It is difficult to know if it is also omitting older emails as well as the most recent ones.
I thought it might be because of the recent update so I rolled back to 66.0.3 (on a Mac) but this didn't help.
Thanks in advance if anybody has a solution or any suggestions to try.

Is this with Global Search, Classic Search (Ctrl+Shift+F) or Quick Filter Bar? If it's Global Search, try rebuilding the database:

Yes, Global search. Thank you so much! Rebuilding the database has solved the problem :-)
