auto forward mail without marking it as read
i have added and account to thunderbird and every mail that comes on it is forwarded to another email. but however, when the email is auto forwarded (filter added) it is marked as read and i want it to remain unread just like auto forward works in gmail. due to this the mail is shown as read in other places also where the same email is synced. need a solution for this

what about including mark as unread in the filter actions?
no doesnt help each and every mail becomes unread because im selecting match all messages have to select match all. the other 2 options dont help. and the other account used by others is also checked so if i do unread then what they have already read will also be unread

I think perhaps you need to reexamine the entire strategy. It is doomed to long term failure.
You could use two filters, one that works on unread mail and one that works on read mail. But the process of forwarding it will mark it as read.
that would be an option i could try but again every forwarded mail would be marked as read
however the current filter of forwarding all emails doesnt seem to be working properly i can see some mails not getting forwarded and some that are
