I do use Eset. I have cancelled the master password ,closed Firefox and then restarted it to put the master password option back on but the problem persists. It is happening on all the pc's in the household. Using Windows10.

Are you using Sync as that can be a reason to ask for the Primary/Master Password on startup ?

This is because the credentials to login to the Sync account are stored in the Password Manager.
