Firefox coming up in foreign language

This morning when I pulled up Firefox on my Android, it looked like it was in one of the slavic languages (Russian?); I uninstalled it but this looks like two problems. First, how to get the language back to English and second, how did this happen--is this a security issue? Thanks,

Already looked at this. Unfortunately, this solution would help if I wanted to go from English (my primary language) to another; but when the language in question is something I can't even begin to translate, getting back to English is not possible.
