Thunderbird as a Tab to Firefox?

more options

Hi. Not sure I picked the right topic, but my subject line basically says it all. I have always wanted to use Thunderbird as a tab to Firefox so that I don't have to have Thunderbird running separately. Can this be done with the new release? Or maybe it's always been possible and I just don't know how!

Hi Don, in short, no. Before Firefox there was a Mozilla Suite and it was split into a separate browser and email client to better meet user needs.

Of course, your email service provider probably has a web interface that you could use to read your mail in Firefox, but it won't have the full functionality of Thunderbird.
