Hey!
I upgraded my old thunderbird to 68.12.1 (64-bits) and everything is now gone, empty. I cant see anything. And some things dont even work.
Seriusly how can it go this bad?
I will pay 200 USD where ever you want if you help me.
Thank you.
Nonsense:
I trusted thunderbird so so much, but will never ever to it again. I hate my life i will propably sit with this for 2 weeks now just to try to solve this shit to get all my important folders and emails back. From now on I will use a backup machine, dont care if it sounds like a jetplane, its better than this.

I really can not visualize. "everything is now gone, empty. I cant see anything. And some things dont even work." how about a screen shot of that?
Do you get asked to add your accounts again? If so then this may be the issue. https://thunderbirdtweaks.blogspot.com/2019/09/i-lost-my-profilemail-on-update-to.html I posted that in September 21019, and in the time since there are less and less folk reporting that issue, largely occurring due to upgrade to 64bit versions from 32bit in the update process. Apparently you are upgrading from last years version, so I am trying with last years solutions.
You say some things do not work. do you see a red rectangle with something in it instead of a lot of your expected interface? This is an issue which can occur with versions using language packs, or non English version mainly.
Or does the interface just appear to not be fully loaded. In which case https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/rebuilding-global-database This has helped some people simply get things going.
