My tabs disappeared. Any way to get them back?
ALL of my Firefox tabs have disappeared. Is there any way to retrieve them?
Not sure how and when I lost my tabs. I had closed all my programs and shut down my computer, and when I turned it back on and clicked on Firefox, there were no tabs at all.
I forgot that I'm not supposed to shut down Firefox when that happens, but I panicked. When I restarted, still no tabs, of course.
My bookmarks are also gone.
I can see some of my recent history, but that's really no help.
This is a disaster. If I'm really out of luck, is there an add-on I can install that will save my tabs and bookmarks, in case this happens again?
TIA for any suggestions.

Did you use a profile and then perhaps you opened firefox in another profile after you shutdown your computer which displayed a fresh empty firefox?
I didn't find any add-ons that could help but I suggest that you sync your firefox with an email account so that all your preferences will be saved (bookmarks, add-ons, and history which basically includes your tabs).
Theres a profile-looking icon on the top right which you can click to sign-in or create a firefox account. You can also probably just search 'create firefox account' and you'll find a link that will lead you to it.
