Hello, i changed my account properties and as a result all mails from previous years mailbox folders were deleted. I log in to my Thunderbird profile and see that the erased mail folders are still there in a Folder i made previously, called Local Folders. There are still in a previous user profile i kept. Is there a way to import these mail folders to my current profile? Bear in mind they are from 3gb to 5gb. I am attaching an image with my previous profile and the various folders i want to retrieve from it, and my current thunderbird mail folders that are empty (the ones in Local Folders Directory, that is) Thanks Achilles

"i changed my account properties "

Changed what to what? my guess is it is another failed attempt to change the account directory. But really you have to say what you did.

Hey Matt, what i meant was i changed how long does thunderbird keep saved mails. It was set to "never delete" and i changed it to |delete after 3 days. As a result, 3 days later all my mail folders were empty (trash folder was empty also). I have not compacted or permanently deleted them, though, when prompted from the program. Thanks Achilles
