Hi You probably have started a fresh empty profile, instead of upgrading from the previous version with your existing profile. Read the Mozilla support article on 'Profiles - where Thunderbird stores your messages and other user data'. In that article is information about how to move or restore a profile. Also read the article 'Using multiple Profiles' - skpip to near the end for how to tell Thunderbird to 'use the selected profile without asking at startup'. If your original profile is still there, that is all you need to set Thunderbird to keep using it. If you find that does not work for you (and it may not if you upgraded from a much older version), report what happened and ask for more help.
