I've been syncing my Thunderbird calendar with my Google calendar with Provider for Google Calendar. It's sort of worked, until today, when it's completely stopped. I've tried uninstalling and reininstalling Provider, but now it can't even connect to my Google account. I've tried to ask it to connect to two different Google accounts and it doesn't work with either. Is this a result of the new release, or is it just a case of Thunderbird being even more temperamental than usual?

I'm on a Mac Pro, Big Sur 11.6.

Remove or disable the Provider add-on, then File/New/Calendar..., On the Network... enter your Google account address.... the rest should be autodetected. Check that cookies are accepted in TB Preferences(Options)/Privacy & Security for the OAuth authentication to complete.
