I can't connect to any websites after clicking on a Manual LIbrary webpage that kept me hostage and would open instead of the website I was trying to get to. I thought it was a scam after doing some research on another browser. This Manual Library gave me two options. To decline tracking on everything or to accept. I clicked the two buttons to decline and now I can't access anything. I don't want to delete my history nor my cookies because I have saved a bunch of things but I think my history is now gone. Searching what to do tells me the only way to correct this being able to use Firefox is to not have my history saved but deleted all of the time and get rid of all cookies. I don't want to do this. What to do now?? I have had to download other browsers in order to use the internet.

I can't connect to any websites after clicking on a Manual LIbrary webpage . . .

What is that? How is it stoping you?

You may have ad/mal-ware. Further information can be found in this article; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware?cache=no

Run most or all of the listed free to use malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.

Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox {web link}

Remove a single website from your history {web link}

Open the History Manager <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> H. In the search bar, enter the name of the site. Right-click on one of the listings and select Forget About This Site. This should remove all information, including any site settings And Passwords.
