Hello!

Thunderbird has suddenly stopped automatically downloading email when I open the app initially. All my emails server settings are set as they always were, to check on start up, check every 10 minutes and automatically download new messages.

The only "change" I have made is to move all the 2019 emails on all my email accounts from their Inboxes to their respective ARCHIVES. Some of them had thousands of emails to move, but that all went smoothly.

I cannot remember exactly when the problem first started, but it could have been the next day. Otherwise no changes at all.

Get All New Messages still works as does checking for new emails every 10 minutes.

I am running Version 91.5.0, first offered to channel users on January 11, 2022.

I am on Windows 10 Build 19043

Thanks for any advice.

Peter

Chosen solution

I just found this solution and it seems to have worked!

"This sometimes fixes the problem: Help/More Troubleshooting, Profile Folder, Open Folder, close TB, delete session.json. Restart TB and see if it checks at startup."
