Update of Firefox
I've used Firefox on my Android tablet for approx 2 years, but haven't noticed any updates. My current version is 68.1.1 but I notice that others on your blog are well into the high 70s.
How do I receive an update please, but will this new version affect and possibly lose my bookmarks?

Hi
If you check for updates to Firefox for Android in the Google Play store, you should see that an update is available. This article will help:

Thanks Seburo, Have seen this since my initial request.
I checked through a few of the different apps on Google Play, but there is no "update" button on Firefox or any other apps that are displayed. My screen seems to be very basic and is missing this and other items that you and others refer to, so I'll probably have to take the tablet in to a local contact for their suggestions.
What model of tablet do you have?
Thanks and please excuse the delay. It's a Huawei T3 8.0, but the problem is unlikely to be reconciled, as I'm unable to access the Google Play store to begin with.
All I see is a left side popup screen, but the "settings" or "help & feedback" buttons respond with a blank page, offering either "Try again" or "Retry" buttons. These just go around in circles, bringing me back to the original page.
Time to invest in new kit, but with no work or income, I've a long wait ahead...
Hi, no problem.
Yes, you will need to be able to access the Google Play store.
You can try side loading the apk. However you may not get Firefox updates this way.

Based on the CPU in your tablet, a ARM Cortex-A53 which is ARMv8-A, I believe the fenix-96.3.1-arm64-v8a.apk may work.
