Convert Local Folders from mbox to maildir fails with "too much recursion"

Hi,

I successfully converted my IMAP accounts from MBOX to MAILDIR. For "Local Folders" I tried it several times, but failed with several attempts at 49% or 11% or even 0% with a popup "Umwandlung fehlgeschlagen" (conversion failed).

Maybe it's related to the size of 5.9 GB? Or 66 *.msf files?

In the error console I found the error "too much recursion" - please see the attached file for more details.

What I use:

Thunderbird 91.5.0, german environment Kubuntu 20.04.1

Strange - I gave it a naive (?) and desperate (!) try with TB in "troubleshooting mode" (all extensions disabled) and was able to convert my Local Folder from mbox to maildir.
