All I want to do is share a word doc to Thunderbird but it always opens outlook. My default app for email is Thunderbird. If I cancel sharing to Outlook I get the error below.

"Word couldn't send mail because of IMAP failure: unspecified error."

word only shares to outlook, it is part of the vendor locking that you pay for when you get microsoft. I bit like bing keeps opening when the windows 10 OS opens links despite my setting bot saying use edge.

I use libreoffice, they at least respect my choices of preferred applications.
