Can't create new account

I am trying to create a new Firefox account with it's own email to be separate from this Firefox account I am posting from. However, every time I try to follow the "sign up" buttons I get redirected to the login page where I enter what I want as the new account info and receive a "Primary email account required for sign in" The email I'm trying to use for my new account is NOT registered with Firefox and I am using a freshly installed version of the browser on a new PC so no extensions are interfering.

I'm not sure, but I think accounts.firefox.com/signup is not valid anymore. Maybe it helps if you address https://www.mozilla.org/de/firefox/accounts/ and sign up there. Please report back if this help you. Thanks

https://accounts.firefox.com/signin is still valid and is being used in many sumo articles about Firefox Accounts

Both signup and signin should be valid, the former was about creating a new account if you didn't had an account and the latter to login to an existing account, but currenly the server might be smart enough to detect this and redirect properly.
