Why are we receiving constant requests for passwords for multiple email addresses that we have using Thunderbird? It's a pop up requesting the password for a particular email and then once we input it in, it recycles again. Thank you.

When you get the request for password - I presume you enter the password , but are you selecting the checkbox to remember the passwords before you click on OK ? If no, then password is only used for the session.

Do you have any software on computer like CCLeaner or WiseCleaner or even an Anti-Virus product that can 'cleanup' files ? Typically they clean up temp files, session files, password and cookie files etc .

If yes, then you need to make sure your Thunderbird profile folder is exempt fom scanning. You do not want any of those types of programs anywhere near your Thunderbird profile folders as they cause alot of havoc which is nothing short of a pain in proverbial.
