Thunderbird upgrade to ver 91.11.0 lost address book and delted both email accounts

How can I roll back from 91.11.0 to the previous version of Thunderbird?

When my wife updated, both email accounts disappeared along with address book data, etc. When I tried to reinstall her gmail account, that seems to have worked but I can't get the system to accept her frontier account.

I either need help troubleshooting or in rolling back and recapturing the profile data that we seem to have lost in the upgrade.

There is no guarantee, but there is a rollback feature. Click windows key and 'r' key and then, in the window that opens, enter thunderbird.exe -p --allow-downgrade and a rollback will be attempted. DO backup your profile prior to doing this.

Thanks for the tip. Regrettably, it didn't work on this Win 11 computer.

I wound up uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version and then restoring the profiles.
