The scrollbar in Firefox 103 is too thin which impacts accessibility.

I tried various options in about:config and nothing worked.

I then changed the Windows 11 scrollbar settings directly in regedit and Windows showed the changes. Even Chrome changed the size of its scrollbar but Firefox refused.

How do I change the scrollbar width in Firefox 103? It's difficult for me to click on it as I get older.

See this Number pref on the about:config page.

  • widget.non-native-theme.scrollbar.style
0: Default platform scrollbar style.
1: macOS scrollbars
2: GTK scrollbars
3: Android scrollbars
4: Windows 10 scrollbars
5: Windows 11 scrollbars

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. If you get the warning page, you can click the "Accept the Risk and Continue" button.

Thanks but it doesn't really help with the width issue. It just change style.

I too was not helped by this response. Is there any other solutions. Otherwise unfortunately I will have to leave Firefox. The scrollbar being so thin just is not working well for me. thank you.
