I am not receiving all my emails.
1. 'the rreceive & send buttons have disappeared. 2 I am not receiving emails. 3 my tool bars have also gone.

Hello there gillian37 We have read your message. We try to help you.
Your buttons are gone. Greyed out or more of them are missing. The Thunderbird toolbar is not present.
In the first step to getting these toolbar back is press f10 and the button Alt if it s stil there. That will unlock all toolbars , try to press this buttons if Thunderbird s send field is on.

The issue that you cannot recieve emails check the settings for your incoming Smtp server.
Also check your settings for the Smtp outgoing email s.

Other options to solve your missing buttons.
click on 'restore default set' button in 'customise' window.
If the send button is missing you can add it to the toolbar. Click on the menu bar for view)Toolbars)Customise)click on the send icon and hold and get it onto the toolbar.
If you are are using the wrong Menu Bar.
In a new Write message window: View > Toolbars > select: Menu Bar, Composition Toolbar, Formatting Bar, status bar.

I dodged away from restoring default , as I feel it may give me more problems trying to get the programms that I Need. I dont have any tool bars ,so some suggestions dont work because I cant access such things as formatting, menu bar, tools , view etc.

Are you using Macintosh apple?
It depends on your os what you are getting for menu bars? Can I ask what on what kind of Os you are and what pc or laptop in 2022?

Try to delete and completely uninstall this Thunderbird .exe including cleaning your PC. with ccleaner for example.
What kind of software do you think would not be accessible again after a reinstall? Of the Thunderbird versions?

If you are not seeing the menu bar, right-click near top of Thunderbird panel and a small menu appears where you can select it. From there, you will be able to see all available toolbars from the View option.
Sorry clicked every thing I could find so I must not be in the appropriate "thunderbird pannel".

Can you provide a screenshot of what you are seeing? That should clear this up.
