Lost bookmarks
Started my computer this morning and tried to use Firefox and it froze. So bad that I had to restart my computer. I re-installed Firefox but it deleted my bookmarks. What do I have to do to get them back? Fortunately I did a backup on my computer before re-installing Firefox. Is there some other way to get them back other than to restore the backup? Any help will be greatly appreciated. I just wish I wasn't such a Luddite when it comes to computers.

Hi Eric, you didn't mention uninstalling Firefox. Was that an intermediate step? During your reinstall, did Firefox mention needing to create a new profile?
Firefox stores its data in profile folders along a hidden path (AppData\Roaming). As a first step, set Windows to show hidden files and folders: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/show-hidden-files-0320fe58-0117-fd59-6851-9b7f9840fdb2
Next, explore in your backup of
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox
Do you have data there?
