Import Outlook x86 on Win 10 x64

more options

I am in the process of migrating from Windows to Linux. I am currently on Windows 10 and I have MS Office 2016 and I think it's installed as an 32 bit program.

When I tried to import from Outlook I get "No Profile Found".

I have saved the .PST file and the two .OST files and I no longer have an Outlook.com account.

Will readpst handle .OST files? Can I do the conversion in Linux and then copy the converted files back to Thunderbird on Windows? For the two .OST files I want to whole contents. For the .PST file I only want the data as the account has only been used for local archiving.

Thunderbird imports from the outlook application using it's default PST/OST.

It does not in any way comprehend PST files or OST files.

While I have on copy of outlook, my guess is if it is 32 bit you will need a 32bit version of Thunderbird for the "conversation" to work. But that is only a guess based on how flaky MAPI is when using 64bit windows and 64bit Thunderbird.
