Move local folders from SSD to hard drive on same computer
I have a small SSD and a larger hard drive on my Win 10 computer. My SSd is running out of space, so I want to move my local folders to my hard drive. I want to leave Thunderbird on my SSD. Can I do this without changing my profile? I'm not a tech person, but I do know a little. How can I make this work? Thanks.

It's a multi-step process: - exit TB - in File Explorer, locate your profile and the Mail folder and the Local Folder folder. Copy it to the larger drive. - start TB - click tools>accountsettings - scroll down to 'Local Folder's. Change the Local Directory to point to the location on other drive where you copied the local folders. - exit and restart TB - check that all is working ok. - exit TB and, in File Explorer, you can now delete the Local Folders in the profile/Mail folder.

Thank you so much. It worked perfectly and cleaned up space on my SSD.
You're most welcome. I'm glad it worked out for you.
