Roll back 102.3.1? Lots of trouble for me.
Last night my Tbird updated. Did it without my requesting to do it. Had 91 or maybe 93. Began with a routine Windows message that it needed to update, would take 2-minutes. Closed everything and said, go ahead.
So a browser widow opened telling me of new T-bird. Hmmm, I hadn't updated, I wonder why? So I open Thunderbird, and it looks nice. New look. really clean. Problem is, it's too clean and I can't see a lot of my messages. Nothing there in one account, all OK in the others. Dunno. Afraid to do anything for fear of messing things up beyond help.
So can I roll back? Have I lost my messages? Poked around seems I'm not alone. Part that stinks is the update came without my input. Kind of makes me lose faith, take my meaning?
Note; I've attached a screen grab, running W11-64. Strange thing is, I can't even delete messages I know for sure are garbage. I'm stuck. Sigh.
Anyway, if someone knows how and feels like helping, thanks in advance. -- John

If possible, I encourage working through your pain. However, if you need to revert, click the windows key and 'r' key together and a window opens. In that enter thunderbird.exe -p --allow-downgrade
but do backup of profile first when Thunderbird is NOT running. This isn't perfect and does have risks, but it generally works.
