I have four emails, however one of them is from my internetprovider, and for some reasons the emails I have already recieved, keep coming in, the same emails over and over and again.

It does not matter, whether I delete the emails or just leave them in my inbox, they still keep coming in. They are spam mails, but from my editor and the public services, they just keep coming. Quite annoying.

Anyone who have an idea?

I am a digital imbecile, so I would really appreciate help.

Thank you.

Kind regards,

Xamama

Are other emails getting downloaded or does it seem to have got stuck and same email is the only email being downloaded ?

You did not mention whether you have a POP or Imap mail account, but it sounds like this could be a POP account and the server has something stuck in the Inbox.

Logon to your webmail account via a browser. In server/webmail Inbox look for that email which keeps being downloaded and delete it. Empty the server/webmail 'Spam' folder Empty the server/webmail Trash folder.

In Thunderbird, select the mail account and click on 'Get Messages'. New messages should now be able to get downloaded.
