unable to load the following web pages
The 2 websites listed at the end of this post refuse to load. Both of them lock up with the spinning wheel that never goes anywhere. I have turned off Enhanced Tracking and I have refreshed the pages multiple times. Both websites are accessible via MS Edge. Can you please fix the glitch? The B&N website will display but refuses to accept any log in input (both manual data entry, BitWarden copy and paste entry, and BitWarden auto entry) Thank you. Problem websites are: https://www.citi.com/login?loginscreenId=ATTuniversal and https://www.barnesandnoble.com/
Computer is WIN 11 Dell and everything has been updated (FF, MS updates, Dell updates). Antivirus suite is AVG. Firewall settings have been double checked. Enhanced Tracking has been turned off.
Thank you. Laurie Selwyn

Is this about loading their home pages or about logging in ?
With the first link I the spinner like you wrote, but if I open the main page and click the Sign in button then I get an overlay with the login form (URL doesn't change). It is possible that the link you use no longer works.
Do you use a bookmark or are you starting with the main (home) page of this website?
If you use a bookmark to access a specific page then instead navigate to this page starting with the main page or with the sign in page in case there is a problem with this bookmark.
The second link gives a pop-up window with a login form.
If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, DuckDuckGo PE, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.
- make sure your extensions and filters are updated to the latest version

Firefox shows a purple shield instead of a gray shield at the left end of the location/address bar in case Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking content.
- click the shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection
You can check the Web Console for relevant-looking messages about blocked content.

You can try these steps in case of issues with webpages:
You can reload webpage(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Settings).
"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:
- Settings -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Data"
"Clear the Cache":
- Settings -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> [X] Cached Web Content -> Clear

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or if userChrome.css/userContent.css is causing the problem.
- switch to the Default System theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window
Citi.com website home page does not show and yesterday would not advance to the log in page: however, it did allow me to advance to the log in page this morning so I consider that resolved for the time being. www.bn.com however is still down for the count. I manually type www.bn.com in the address bar and it goes to https://www.barnesandnoble.com/ Home page looks normal. I manually disable the enhanced tracking thingy on the far left of the address bar and refresh the page. I then click on MY ACCOUNT and the sign in button. I attempt to enter my email address manually (half the time it will allow me to type my email into the log in field the rest of the time, it refuses to accept any input) but the pop up box refuses to allow me to enter my password and promptly gives me THIS error message: "Gah. Your tab just crashed. We can help!Choose Restore This Tab to reload the page.Will you help us?Crash reports help us diagnose problems and make Firefox better. Report this tab Send an automated crash report so we can fix issues like this Include the URLs of the sites you were on when Firefox crashed"
There are no pop up blockers as I rely on BitWarden (password manager), AVG Suite. Javascript and FlashPlayer are permitted (not turned off or blocked). There are no cookies to clear as I keep Firefox set on Private Browsing. thank you for your help.
Maybe try to start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode and type both email and password.

Did you submit a crash report as you do not always get the possibility to submit a report in case of a tab crash ?
If you have submitted a crash report, please post the IDs of one or more recent crash reports that start with "bp-".
- bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
You can find the report ID of recent crash reports on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page.
- click the "All Crash Reports" button on this page to open the about:crashes page and see all crash reports.
Alternately, you can open about:crashes via the location/address bar.
