Can't send email
My email comes to Thunderbird from my comcast.net account. I had to change my comcast password and ever since, I can receive mail in Thunderbird, but not send mail. I did enter the new password on the screen that came up, but that doesn't help

try deleting your comcast passwords from Thunderbird. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/password-manager-remember-delete-change-tb
I tried deleting the passwords from Thunderbird and re-entered the correct password but I still can't send email. Can only receive it. So strange, as doesn't Thunderbird need to correct password to receive the mail???
