when using firefox I keep having my windows operating system being corrupted, I'm beginning to think that my sync files are hacked because everything seems to run clean up and until I log in to sync my account. after a full and complete reinstall of my. operating system everything seemed okay this morning so I did a reinstall of firefox, sofar so good, test visited a few sites, again smooth running, synced to my account, after about an hour and a half started having control issues with firefox not taking commands and opening new windows. tried refresh just made it worse. then I find that win defender is crashing and my ooperating system says I'm not properly logged in. Doing a complete reinstall again. This time will have to rebuild in the window browser.

Was Firefox set as the default browser as it is possible th malware is targeting Firefox or the default browser ?

You can do a malware scan just to be sure.
