It's so annoying that you ask for my password when I'm already logged in obviously. I'm on the same phone the same internet at the same address you should know by now it's me. And then nobody remembers the password even though they said they remembered it and I don't remember it. And it says if I reset my password I'm going to lose all the bookmarks and all of my logins. What the heck? Why isn't there always option just to login with my Google account? It does sometimes but not always.

Hi David

We really do not know that you are you - we try to be very privacy focused.

To protect your data when it is being synced between copies of Firefox on different devices, if you follow the lost password process in Firefox Sync, yes , your data is deleted. It is retained if you are just changing your password.

A Google Account is provided by Google and is not compatible with your Mozilla Account.

I hope that this helps.
