Got a new computer. Exported and imported bookmarks. However, that did not copy over my bookmark bar. Is there a way to get it to copy or do I have to recreate it?

Why not use Sync and watch the magic.

This way your data is on more than one device. There are several users here losing their data because they don't have a back-up nor their data on another device. see old screenshot

I did not ask you about that. I'm not interested in putting more information in the cloud and I have different sets of bookmarks on different computers depending on use.

What I asked was if there is a way to transfer the bookmark toolbar content from one to the other. If you can't answer that, please don't answer.

To copy your bookmark bar to your new computer, sync your browser account on both devices. This will ensure all bookmarks, including the bookmark bar, are transferred. Alternatively, you may need to recreate it manually if syncing isn't an option.

Somebody else answered incorrectly, I replied, you ignored that and gave that same, unasked for answer again.

Note that the Bookmarks Toolbar bookmarks may have ended up at the bottom of the Bookmarks Menu folder, so you can possibly do a search to see if you can locate them.

In Firefox 96+ you can right-click a bookmark search/query/recent result list and click "Show in Folder" to locate this bookmark in the folder list in the sidebar.
