Every time I try to use full screen mode, either by pressing the F11 key or using the full screen Tool Bar button, the Search Bar keeps showing.

Do you have enabled "Hide Toolbars" if you right-click on the Navigation Toolbar?

Okay, I checked this in Nightly and found this bug where this regression is being investigated.

  • 1928292 - Address bar remains visible when switching to fullscreen
