Audio in firefox (for android) is crackling when using headphones, no matter what the type (mp4, mp3). Already tested this on the newest version of: normal, beta, nightly and focus. I think on nightly it happens less, but instead there is also a bit of stuttering

I don't think it's the phones or headphones fault since audio from other browsers (Chrome, Brave, DuckDuckGo) or apps (YouTube, Spotify) works perfectly fine. It doesn't occur on PC, so it's probably only the android version.

  • Headphones - WF-1000XM5
  • Firefox versions: 135.0; 136.0b5; 137.0a1

Same noticed thisfor the past week but thought my headphones were acting up but then I noticed the same in my car and with a new set of speakers. I thought it was a problem with my phone or something but then I tried playing same video with vivaldi and there was no crackling
