Trying to import bookmarks from an HTML file

When I do this: # Firefox will ask you to select the bookmark file on your hard drive to import. Navigate to the file, select it, and click the Open button.

Chosen solution

Are there bookmarks in that file? Can you open that HTML file in a Firefox tab via File > Open File? Do you get any error messages?
