After downloading V3.6.4 (it failed and I had to download manually) some webmail tabs will not respond. Specifically the NEW button and before that the SEND button. IE works fine.

Hello Chuck.

You may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in safe mode and select Disable all add-ons. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. See this article for information about troubleshooting extensions and theme. You can troubleshoot plugins the same way.

If you want support for one of your add-ons, you'll need to contact its author.

Tried Foxfire Safe Mode from the start menu, killed all the add-ons, still fails. Again, this was now a stripped down Foxfire. I, at the same time, deleted the Adobe Flash upgrade.

Not happy. I do not like IE.

If it doesn't help, then it's possible that it's a problem with the web page itself. Contact its webmaster and let him know of this.

Another complication was that my Spyware Doctor w/Anti-V expired the day before the new Firefox was installed. I can't believe that was responsible.

This has the reached the point that i will not pursue it any more. Too much time is needed. I used webmail to delete my 98% spam. I can get by with out the SEND button by continuing in Outlook.

Thanks anyway. I do believe it is the new Firefox version plus Win 7/64. I have two other computers, one with Visa (old) and one XP. I'll let you know how they do.
