When I downlowded Google Earth on Firefox, a Hotbar virus was attached. How is Firefox preventing this from happening again?
I downloaded Google Earth and a Hotbar virus was attached. It was successfully uninstalled, but I want reassurance that these scams will be stopped before mine or someone elses computer gets infected.
This happened
Just once or twice

No browser, incl. FF, can keep a dumb-ass from dl'ing more and more junk to computer
Did you download Google Earth from their official site http://www.earth.google.com?
Remember not to just keep clicking Next when installing!
