I keep getting redirected when I select a website, it automatically sends me somewhere else. How can I solve this. I have removed Firefox before due to the same issue

I find a website I want to go to in Google, then when I click it the notation "redirect" shows up on my left hand corner of the browser tab. then it takes me somewhere else. I have it set on privacy always and its still does it. I have removed Firefox before from my compute due to this issue which does not seem to occur when I use Explorer or Safari (both of which are on my computer). Explorer tends to crash a lot. Firefox is by far the fastest, but this redirect issue is frustrating.
