On mac OSX Snow Leopard -=- If i perform the following:

1. Bookmark a tab (to the toolbar) 2. Try to right click/option click on a bookmark in the toolbar.. NOTHING happens.. no context menu nothing 3. In order to rename a bookmark I have to go all the way into the Organize bookmarks screen, find book mark, make changes, then close it.. KLUGE.. 4. check out firefox on windows 7 / xp.. very simple: single click on the bookmark in toolbar.. make changes and DONE..

Let me know a work around?? cheers.. Viva La Firefox... FOREVER

Did you ask the question before? Please do not make a new thread, add new replies to the old one.

Please try to see whether you can rename bookmarks in safe mode.

Highly annoying. I found the following workaround on this page:

Basically, open the bookmarked page in a tab. Since it is bookmarked, you will see a star to the right of the URL at the end of the address bar. Click this star and you will be able to edit the bookmark's properties.
