I want to customise my shortcut keys, especially "backspace = back"

I do a lot of in-browser typing, and I'm really sick of the shortcut for the back button, because if I accidentally click out of a text or form box, it shoots me back a page or more and I lose my progress. I've tried to find shortcut settings in the Tools menu, but I can't seem to. How do I at least turn the shortcut keys off? I never use them, and they're more hindrance than help.

Thank you so much! I'm just starting to delve into the config page.
