My tabs no longer show below my toolbar. It just started happening a couple days ago and I cannot figure out how to fix it nor what happened to begin with.
The tabs don't show anymore. However, when I click on "File" the options for "New Tab" and "Close Tab" are there. But no option to switch to another tab. ..... I want the visual tabs lined up across the top of my screen just beneath the toolbar with the + to add another, etc., back where they always were. ..... Is there simply something that got switched off? Rebooting didn't reset it, and I cannot find any such option, nor anything in "help" about it.
Chosen solution
Have you tried
- Tools -> Options -> Tabs -> [x]Always show the tabs bar
If you do not have that enabled, you may find the tabs bar only shows whilst multiple tabs are in existence.

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode?

Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."
If not, see this:

It is already check marked as on. I do remember now having seen that but in my frustration misspoke and said I couldn't find a switch. I couldn't find a switch that worked. It was a GREAT thought/suggestion. Thanks, anyway! Turns out somehow an extention - Firefox 3D tab manager or something like that - was causing the problem.
I appreciate your response. Thanks.

Okay. I have a another problem. I accidentally chose the wrong solution to tag on here. I meant to check "the-edmeis..." who had me work in safe mode and it turned out to be an extension causing the problem. Foxtab 1.4.1 ___ 3-D Tab management. Is there a way to correct this?
TO "the-edmeis..." who answered my question and helped me solve the problem.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I have learned so much from your answer. I knew nothing about safe mode. Anyway, it was an extension causing the problem. Firefox 3D tab manager. I don't even remember choosing to try that out, and I have no idea now what is "3D" about it. ... I'm sorry I accidentally clicked the wrong solution on here as having Solved the Problem. It isn't apparent how to change it, IF there is a way at all.
I greatly appreciate your help. Thanks again.
