I have an older PC : Dell Optiplex Pentium 4 (Intel) 1.8GHz 1 GB RAM 80 GB hard drive Rage 128 Pro Ultra Gl video card

I am getting a new PC and want to switch this one over to Linux (Fedora V14). I would like to completely avoid MS products entirely.

To that end, Mozilla works great on Windows XP but can I install in on an old PC running Linux?

Fedora 14 itself should be able to handle Firefox 3.6 and upcoming 4.0 just fine. Should be able to run current versions of Thunderbird also.

Firefox 3.6 and 4.0 should work though Flash may be more of a strain (videos for instance) on Firefox 4.0 with those specs, particularly with the graphics card.

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:2.0b10pre) Gecko/20110120 Firefox/4.0b10pre
