I`ve been using internet explorer, and have a lot of favorites. Now starting with Mozilla,I want ro pass all my favorites to Mozilla

There is an Import function in the File Menu, but if you use that your Favorites and going to end up in a bookmarks folder labeled From Internet Explorer.

My advice is to export from IE into HTML format, and then import that file into Firefox, like this:
In IE: File > Import/Export - Export to HTML file

then in Firefox: Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks -> Import & Backup - Import HTML... = From HTML file
