As stated above, I cannot permanently delete ShopAtHome toolbar. How can I do that? I have unchecked it under View, Toolbars. It goes away for awhile, then reappears. Thanks!

You can uninstall the Shopathome.com extension.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Hi Tudugger,

Thank you for your post. We apologize for any inconvenince this may have caused. I am the Customer Service Manger for ShopAtHome.com. While we have millions of satisfied customers using our Intelligent Shopping Toolbar, we recognize that it’s not for everybody. So, we make it easy to install and to remove!

Here are the steps to remove the software program from your Windows XP system:

• Click on Add/Remove Programs in your computer’s Control Panel. • Click on our Software. (It will be listed as the following: ShopAtHome Select Rebates) • Click on Change/Remove. • At the ShopAtHome uninstall program box Check BOTH checkboxes (SelectRebates and ShopAtHome Toolbar) • Click OK • Once uninstall is complete, reboot your computer.

Here are the steps to remove the software program from your Windows 7 system:

• Click “Uninstall a programs” in your computer’s Control Panel. • Click on our Software. (It will be listed as the following: ShopAtHome Select Rebates) • Click Uninstall/Change • At the ShopAtHome uninstall program box Check BOTH checkboxes (SelectRebates and ShopAtHome Toolbar) • Click OK • Once uninstall is complete, reboot your computer.

If you have already completed the steps above but the software is still showing on your system please Click Here and follow the directions. If you don’t want the Intelligent Shopping Toolbar on your computer for whatever reason, then we want to make sure that it’s not a problem for you to remove it.

Please note that third party removal programs, such as Norton or McAfee, do not completely remove the SelectRebates software, and we strongly advise against using these programs for removal of our software. Again, they may not be designed to fully remove our software from your computer.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact me directly at help@shopathome.com.

Thank you,

Michelle M Customer Service Manager ShopAtHome.com
