Never had problems updating versions before. I am system admin and computer does not ask for admin password.

The problem is the same for 3.6.13 and 3.6.15

  • Download a new copy of the Firefox program: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html
  • Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install.
  • Install the new version that you have downloaded.

Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder, so you won't lose your bookmarks and other personal data.

cor-el- Thank you. I now have 3.6.15 running. I did not know the Profile Folder was not inside Firefox and didn't want to loose my benchmarks. All are intact. Thanks again. floridauser
