Still getting Invalid URL on Washington Post sites
Clicking any link to a Washington Post headline returns an Invalid URL error. This has been going on for several weeks, before which everything worked with no problem.
One other post (not from me) about this problem produced a reply, but the instructions given do not work.
I'm on a Toshiba Satellite laptop, Windows 7, FF 3.6.15.

The problem is with the extension "HTTPS Everywhere." I found the solution on another site as follows:
Rather than disable HTTPS Everywhere, you can simply disable the washingtonpost.com rule. Go to Tools -> Add-Ons, and then click Preferences for the HTTPS-Everywhere add-on. Then un-check the WashingtonPost box.
The solution worked like a charm.
The default setting in HTTPS-Everywhere 0.9.5 for "Washington Post (broken)" is set to off (un-checked).
sltax, thanks for trying. Glad it worked for you. Here, it doesn't.
Helper7677, yes, the HTTPS-Everywhere for "Washington Post (broken) is unchecked as default.
Invalid URL is still showing with any headline link at the Post.
Thanks for the help. The Washington Post is now working! No more invalid URLs.
