Big Problems on eBay

more options

first I noticed eBay looked a little different, I thought eBay had made some changes .......... then I went to buy an item, I entered the amount, and when I clicked on PLACE A BID, firefox Signed me Out of eBay!!! ......... tried this two days in a row, with same results. Then I tried it with Google Chrome, and it worked fine. PROBLEM IS, Firefox updates without asking my permission, and I hate ANY program that does that.

This problem Started about 3 days ago, when Firefox or the Ad Block was updated .... automatically ..... which pisses me off, Hate auto-update Anything (and this problem is exactly why) .... I have been using Firefox for a year now, and really liked it, except for the auto-updates .... but now, I may keep using Google Chrome ... Unless, Firefox Fixes the problem, and THEN, allows me to Opt-Out of Auto-Updates !!! .... that way if there is a problem, and could go back to an earlier version of Firefox

I doubt if the updates of Firefox and Ad Block is the cause of your problems. I have the same configurations as yours and have no problem bidding on eBay. It could be one of your other extensions/add-ons is causing the problems. You can try this to see if it helps:

You can disable the "Auto Update" option by doing this:

Tools > Options > Advance > Update

and uncheck the Auto-Update option.
