Firefox 4.01 (Dutch) on Windows 7 Prof 64 bits. How can I add Yahoo to the Firefox searchbar? In there it shows Bing and Google and some Dutch search things. But no Yahoo. I did a clean install of FF but still the same. In the C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins folder it's also not there. Using the "Manage search engines" option also does not help: I can go to the Mozilla add ons pages though there but also no Yahoo there.

You can get Yahoo search engines from http://mycroft.mozdev.org/yahoo-search-plugins.html

@ TonyE Thanx for your reply :-) Was a bit lost on that page but found what I needed so thanx!! :D Just curious: why is Yahoo not on the default list of search engines in FF? I mean, Yahoo at least has a normal image search instead of the totally f*cked up thing that Google has now ...

The default search engines are different for each language version. The English (US) version does include Yahoo as a default.

Ahhh okay, that could explain. Kinda weird though ... I mean, lots of people in the Netherlands do use Yahoo.
