My Firefox 4.0.1 for Ubuntu canonical - 1.0, when in Basic Page Style mode, shows no website page correctly. Changing the Page Style to No Style, I can see the pages partially though sort of distorted!

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

In Firefox 4 Safe mode disables extensions and disables hardware acceleration.

  • Edit > Preferences > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
