Click the Firefox button, go to Add-ons, then Plugins and disable "My Web Search". This is adware and will try to steer your web searches to its advertiser database.

I checked the FAQ at http://www.gingersoftware.com/faq/ and according to that site, the app works with Firefox.

Disabling the above mentioned plugin may fix the problem, but in any event, you urgently need to update your Flash installation since the one you have installed at the moment exposes your system to attack. Update via http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

See http://www.adobe.com/support/security/bulletins/apsb11-12.html

A visit to the Plugins Check page might also be in order to check whether anything else is out of date.

If the problem persists, try running Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode. If it functions properly in that configuration, then one of your add-ons is the culprit.

Hello and thank you for the support. The Ginger programme is still not working when using Firefox. I followed the instructions given, ran Firefox in the safe mode with no success. I also removed and re-installed Ginger, again no improvement. Works fine with Explorer and Word. What I can't explain, it did work with Firefox for a short time after the initial installation.

I would appreciate any additional information that might help resolve my problem.

Regards, Eamon.
